New Beginnings

If you have been around The Country Parson for any length of time, you will know that it is my desire for you to excel in your life! The only way for that to occur is for you to fully place your trust in Jesus!

It is my challenge to you that 2008 becomes a time of "New Beginnings!" As you let Jesus in to your life, let Him direct your steps. In fact, Proverbs 3:5 & 6 tells us that very fact!

Here is the cool part. The year of 2007 is over. You can't change it whether it was good or bad. But what you can change is your attitude on how 2008 will be for you. Oh, don't get me wrong, 2008 will have it's own challenges. But it is in our attitudes and choices how it will end up. Here is a saying that I have lived by for almost 30 years. This saying is my theme for this year.

You can't discover new oceans, if you are afraid to lose sight of the shore.

I'm sorry that I don't remember who said it, but I have lived by it. Of course with Jesus as your guide, He will NEVER lead you astray. Trust Him for what is in store for you in 2008!
